I think the link's broken - I can't see what it is that I'm being asked if I've tried.

    Anyone else having this problem?

Works for me, though it's not in English.

I should have warned you it's German
The link seems to work, I double checked it just in case... and even logged out of the forum with my cache cleared it still opens so

If all else fails I'll post the series of pics here... in a nut shell:
Grate soap in the lid of a ceramic bowl
Press the gratings down into the lid tightly
Hold lid over bowl while starting lather with a wet brush
Continue to work and build the lather in the bowl with out the presence of the soap it's slef.

I've seen similar technique used with glycerine soaps but not to the degree of grating the soap in the lid of the bowl.. It looks like it would work great if you had a lot of soap to grate like that "cheese log" in the pic

Boy if I brought a cheese grater into the bathroom to do this my wife would call the men in the white coats. She already thinks I am nuts. In addition I would never go that far when I can get a good lather the regular way.

I can see it now. Maybe it was just a thing with my work connection...

Anyway... that's a bit hard core for me, I think. I don't know why you'd need to grate it like that to get a good lather, when a more than acceptable lather can be gotten in all sorts of less labor intensive ways.

The cost benefit analysis here leads me to not do it.

Would that make the resulting lather "dairy cream"?
