Proraso Cream In The Tube
Had been using Proraso in the plastic bowl and always loved the smell and felt that it was easy to get some good suds and had wonderful lubricity. (That's my $10 word of the day). Anyhow, I was not liking the post-shave maintenance of draining the bowl etc etc etc and decided to give the Proraso cream in the tube a shot. Wow i'm glad i did! Just a small quarter sized dollop in the bottom of my shave bowl and some hot/warm water on my brush and i had more than enough lather to do a three pass shave and could easily have gone a fourth. To me it was very clean and easy maintenance and seeing how little i had to use, one tube could last for months.
Just my 2 cents but wanted to share that with everyone. Also, at $11.00/tube on Amazon i figure it'd break out to a buck or two a month...definately not going to break the bank...the razors off the Bay will do that easily enough!

Pastmaster04,
You're not alone in your opinion...I like Proraso shave cream in the tube for the same reason(s)."Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter." Mark Twain

Thanked: 431Welcome Brian.
You just can't go wrong it seems with anything Proraso. Have you tried the other one in a dish, the one with Tea and Aloe? It is great also.
If you have a Bath and Body Works close by, they have the C.O.Bigelow Premium Shaving Cream (it is Proraso) in the very small men's section, a nice big 5 oz. tube for about $10, I've seen it on special 2 for 1 even.
Great stuff.

The tube stuff is great. Haven't tried the Aloe kind yet, but there's a CO Bigelow Pharmacy a few blocks from me that stocks it all.

I've used Proraso directly from the tube onto my face. Just dab it around, and then use your badger brush and hot water and form the lather directly on your face. It works pretty well, but make sure you work it all into a lather because any left-over stuff will clog your DE shaver.
