    Default Mark Lackey

Has anybody else gotten this email that is supposedly from Mark Lackey at Superlather.com? Is it legit or is it the bad guys who stole his stuff. Just curious how many have purchased from him have received this??

"I'm sorry for this odd request because it might get to you too urgent but it's because of the situation of things right now, I'm stuck in London, United Kingdom right now, i came down here on vacation , i was robbed, worse of it is that bags, cash and cards and my cell phone were stolen at GUN POINT, so i only have access to my email, it's such a crazy and brutal experience for me and i was hurt on my right hand, i need help flying back home, the authorities are not being 100% supportive but the good thing is i still have my passport but don't have enough money to sort the bills and get my flight ticket back home, please i need you to loan me some money, i promise to refund it as soon as I'm back home, you can get it to me through western union."

If I had to guess I'd say it's the bad guys using his computer to send mail to everyone on his customer list. That and western union is a big giveaway.

I have an alternate email for him and I think I'll try to get through to the real guy.

Exactly. Considering the Return Email is different from the sender

I left a VM on the number on the site. Stubear said they might have hacked his email or something and grabbed the email list. If you've used a credit card there keep an eye on it.

No kidding and I have used one there to buy things. It's been awhile but you never know.

Check the headers to see if it really comes from where it says it does.
