Plisson Shave Soap
I've been looking for the Plisson/Joris Thuja wood shaving bowl in the picture below. I know that the shaving bowl was made for Plisson/Joris but I found the same bowl at Carter and Bond. I was not able to buy the product on Plisson's website, does anyone know where I can purchase one of these and whether they ship to the US?

Thanked: 335CB,
Per usual, I'm clueless, but it is lovely burl. I can understand why you'd like to get one for yourself.

I would give Colonial Drug in Boston a call @ 617-864-2222.
They have a good selection of Plissons and I bought Joris shave soap from them in the past.

Thanks Chris. I went by Colonial several months ago and I remember that they carry a lot of Plisson shave brushes and some hard to find shave stuff. I emailed them, Atkinson's of Vancouver, Rasage Poulin and Fendrihan. I haven't heard from Atkinson's or Colonial but Rasage Poulin said that they may be able to get it and Fendrihan indicated that they plan on carrying the product in a couple of months.

Thanks Don, its been difficult to find a review of the soap and this is the reason why I'm wondering whether other soaps will fit into the same bowl. I do know that the plisson/joris soap is triple-milled and made in Englands, which leads me to believe that other triple milled soaps will fit the container.
I forget the name of the manufacturer that makes all the triple milled soaps in England?
