    Default My Girlfriend Loves Me

So for Valentine's Day my girlfriend and I set a $100 limit. She went through a lot of work and some anguish trying to figure out what to get me, but come last Sunday I found myself with a box containing MWF, TOBS Avocado, and TOBS Almond. I've gotta say I am quite pleased considering my samples are beginning to run out. It made me quite happy and it showed at least a little bit of a genuine interest in something I really enjoy doing.

    Congrats!

Its really great that your girlfriend is supporting your hobbies! It sounds like you guys had a good day..!

I dont have those soaps myself, but I have heard nothing but good things about them so I'm sure you will enjoy them! Have you tried any of them? What did you think?

You too? It's great when they pick somethign they know you'll like... I got a pretty Omega Brush with a gorgeous ashwood handle (Omega #11137) And a full sized tub of TGQ's Gentleman's Oak and Moss cream, some Old Spice aftershave -I like their cologne, as does SWMBO-, and a bottle of Nivea for Men Post Shave Balm.

Made me feel guilty.. I gave her a big box of Godiva chocolates, wrote a love note, and a picture of the place we first met along with other memorable places/events in our relationship...

Also, took a stuffed animal -she likes teddy bears- cut open the back, took the cologne of mine that she loves most (Express Reserve) and liberally sprayed the stuffing, stitched him back together and gave her that... She LOVED that one.

Congrats on finding a good woman who realizes the value of shaving

    Cheers,
    Jeremy

Well I've tried them all and they are quite nice. The TOBS is top notch for sure. The MWF took a couple tries, the lather would get airy and bubbly and then disappear, but I eventually found the right soap/water ratio that worked well, and boy did it work well. Also, they all smell fantastic. The Almond has a nice sweet smell to it and the Avocado smells refreshingly clean. The MWF has a unique soapy organic smell that I really enjoy.

Haha, thankfully it is often the thought that counts. I got her a pair of shoes that she asked her parents for last Christmas and didn't get. I felt kind of guilty as well, I was going to get her the roses and all that fun stuff, but we were never apart long enough for me to go pick some up the day before. Congrats on the brush, the MWF actually got my Semogue Boar #64 very soft, so I was pleased about that. Also, nice idea with the teddy bear!
