You mean those ones on eBay? They smell like sasafrass. If you don't know what that smells like, I can't describe it.

They lather like...well...nothing. No lather. Slick as snot, but not what I was looking for.

I like the company. I like the bath soaps. I like the scent. They are from Texas. I am from Texas.

It is the worst shaving soap I have ever used. Fizzy, fuzzy, foamy, and no cushion. Olive oil does not, in my experience, work well as a shave soap base.

    Regards,
    Tim

Hello Shawn, Do not have any experience with it as soap, but we use the powdered leaves in Gumbos [ gumbo file' pronounced "fee-lay"]and other seafood recepies. The root has an aroma of rootbeer, however i've heard the leaves have a slight citrus scent.

I have no experience with this soap brand but have experience of soap with almost identical ingredients. After a couple of trial lathers it was very evident it was not going to make it as a shave soap.

Tim, I tried one that was worse. Didn't even make it to fizzy.
But yep, I had the same experience with this one.
