Although I do my best to match the performance of The Bombs, every essential oil behaves differently. Some give more volume of lather, others more density either to the cream, the lather or both, etc. The power of the scent and the way that the oil affects the skin also varies. If there is more than one oil in the mix, each one adds to the equation. I hope that you had a good day though.

Anyway, one of my most enjoyable shaves in recent memory, maybe ever.

Custom-scented tubs of world-class shave cream from a small business doing it the right way. One more reason why traditional shaving beats anything P&G could ever hope to come up with.

Thought I would chime in on this thread. Used The Bomb for the second time today. Bodega (cedar). The scent is just awesome. I am now on the quest for a good cedar scented aftershave. But the lather is really da bomb. Nuclear man. After nearly 2 years of wetshaving, today I made text-book merengue (spelling?) lather with peaks. I have been using soaps and just recently started trying creams, but have always struggled to make really good lather; good, but not quite there. Today it looked like all those pictorials I studied when I started this hobby. And as far as service goes, Al has carved a new notch above top-notch. Thanks Al, you are The Bomb.

very nice job ALRAZ on the bay rum cream. I built the lather per your instructions and it was great!! the razor just glided through the foam cushion base and took out all enemy whiskers with ease! boy is this stuff slick (slippery)! 2 thumbs up!!!! great product

Default my turn to get bombed

used my bomb for the second time today, the other day i used my bodega bomb, this afternoon, i used the siagon sampler al sent me, all i can say is wow, my face was a wonderful shave, nice and bbs. then came the fun part, i had about a full weeks growth on my scalp, so there was some work involved, but never fear, the bomb was up to the challenge, i have a very smooth scalp, with no nicks, i love the slip this has, will definatly be ordering more in a few weeks, need a few other scents to add to the rotation. way to go al on a great product

Well I must say that if you have an "AD" for creams, then da bomb will put an end to it! I have been using da bomb for a few weeks now and it absolutely rocks! I tried some of my AOS the other day because it was getting lonely and I cut myself to pieces! Seriously da bomb will spoil you! I think it would be a great cream for newbies as it provides for a wider margin of error in shave technique. I have four scents: soca (lime), bodega (cedar), calypso (bay rum), and probomb (menthol). I am seriously thinking about just getting all of his scents and being done with it. I wouldn't need another cream for years! If you haven't tried it just buy a tub and give it a whirl. You will quickly become another convert! A big thanks goes out to Al for all of the hard work he put into providing me with such a smooth shave!!!
