Kent Shave soap?
Has anyone used Kent Shave soap? Ive been using it for several shaves now and I like it. Comes in a walnut bowl...nice quality, It lathers well for me and the smell (not sure what it is) reminds me of my grandparents house so I like it for that too. Just wondering what others have experienced...Turbodude out!

The Kent is my favourite soap and the one I use most. It is in fact also believed to be Mitchell's Wool Fat, just with the Kent name on it. Absolutely fantastic soap and at a great price!

I went through a puck of it and I do believe it is MWF. It is cheaper but the wooden bowl mine came in was a natural wood color and deteriorated over time. When I was done with it I bought the regular MWF in the ceramic bowl. As long as I don't break it I will only need the refills now and the ceramic is more friendly to my brushes than the wooden Kent bowl. I have wooden bowls from Trumper's and from D.R. Harris and no problems with those.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

ok sweet thanks guys...I'm just glad to see I haven't been putting sulfuric acid on my face or anything. You know I found a hallmark gift shop today that had the most perfect "soup mug", that actually fits the whole Kent bowl inside it, and i figure Im just going to use the bowl the Kent came in for storage more or less and the soup bowl for mixing my lather concoctions (Kent soap lather, vitamin E oil, glycerin, and proraso shave cream for the eucalyptus oil). Ive heard great things about MWF is that true? Thanks
