Thread: Farmer's market soap?

i actually make my soap the classic way "lye n lard". right now im just giving it out to family as gifts. maybe in the near future il sell some of it. i also make regular bars of soap. i really enjoy making my soap and shaving with a SR. great feeling!!!

I've tried it with soaps from a couple different farmer's market vendors: one in Madison and one in Minneapolis. Both had said they could be used as a shave soap, but I could never get a stable lather out of them. They were excellent bath soaps, however.
