Default Castle Forbes in Philly or D.C.?

Wondering if there are any brick and mortar stores in Philly or D.C. that carry CF cream, so I can avoid the usual shipping costs.

    Default Castle Forbes . . .

    Hello, Basset:

Truefitt & Hill in Chicago carries Castle Forbes. If Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., have a Truefitt & Hill, you might be in luck. I don't know how much this helps, but it would not hurt to do a little digging on the store's locations.

    Regards,
    Obie

I do not know if this is common or not but in my experience, because the local guys have higher overhead costs that online retailers, there is little, if any difference in what you pay (with shipping, taxes, etc...). I like supporting local vendors too. Also, some online retailers offer free shipping.

    Thanks for the reply.

Yesterday I picked up a lavender AOS tub for $22 at the local AOS store in downtown Philly. Amazon sells for $22 + $5 shipping. I also picked up replacement pucks of Cade shaving soap from the local LOccitane for $10, which is the online price as well, but with no shipping, obviously.

So I thought maybe I could repeat the same success with CF cream.

As for free shipping, I haven't seen anyone online selling CF cream that offers free shipping unless you buy $100 worth of their goods. If anyone knows of more favorable terms for shipping CF cream, I'd love to hear about it.
