Thread: Soap & Cream Rotation

I've got a bunch of soaps and creams, but I wind up using the same stuff most times. I recently picked up some MWF and haven't budged off it for a couple of weeks. I tried the uberlather thing, but now that I use cold water all the time I'm a pretty solid face-latherer.

Thanked: 6I have the exact same sentiments, but it takes all I have to not order more than one soap at a time. I read all of these great reviews about wonderful soaps and creams - it's torture! I'm currently on a MWF puck and it should last me awhile. I'm sure it is only a matter of time before I break down.

I usually choose my soaps and creams each day simply for variety's sake. Of course, there are some soaps or creams that I prefer over others, so they find their way into my shaving rotation more frequently than others. I have developed a preference for shaving creams such as Erasmic, Ingram and Castle Forbes while my preferences for soaps is Edwin Jagger Sea Buckthorn, Valobra and Tabac.
I love mixing them together to create superlather or add a few drops of glycerin for uberlather."Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter." Mark Twain

I just today discovered that adding a bit of Astroglide personal lubricant really improves the quality of my über lather!)
Yet another fine use of AstroGlide.

IK, Provence Sante, Pre de Provence, L'Occitane
AOS Sandalwood
MWF and Tabac
These are the ones that see regular use. I just use what I feel like using for the day.
