What the cat hair is "SRD" soap?
OK, I give up. A search for threads that might enlighten me seem to only yield results where everyone apparently knows what it is and doesn't need to spell it out. Digging through the customary online retailers was no help either.
So, I'll bite - who or what is SRD? It's important because it's good stuff and I don't have any of it. Please tell me it doesn't have something to do with a burlap bag and "snipe".

Also, SRD is owned by the founder of SRP, Lynn Abrams. They have a great range of kit at SRD, and I have a real thing for their strops, which are fantasic.
Lynn is a true gentleman, and has forgotten more about straight razors than most of us will ever know..!

Ahhhh (palm to forehead), that's so obvious that I missed it completely. I'll put the dunce cap on and go sit in the corner now.

The Bulgarian Rose from SRD is one of the finest soaps you'll ever find. True, maybe not as cheap compared to other soaps but Bulgarian Rose Otto EO doesn't come cheap and they have not skimmed on the amount of EO used either. Wonderful scent and does a skin good. But any of the other soaps are truly wonderful.

Well, obviously I have little fear of looking ignorant.
I don't care how well rounded, experienced, educated and old I might someday get to be (in my mind, anyway), the number of things that I am ignorant about is skyrocketing by the minute. The more I learn about, the more I realize just how ignorant I've always been - to the point that it's no longer embarrassing. That, or I've just grown callous to embarrassment.
