    Yep!

A fair few people do that here, and its called uberlather.

You can also make it without the glycerin, just soap and cream, and its called superlather then.

Its good stuff, and combines the best of both cream and soap. Give it a try, I'm sure you'll like it!

Unless I'm traveling, I always mix shaving soap and shaving cream. I load my brush with the shaving soap, add a dollop of cream to a separate mug, add a squirt of glycerine, and away I go.

I do it all the time... Generally with TOBS Sandalwood soap and The Body Shop Maca Root, as the smells complement eachother.

I don't really get that much better of a shave from two mixed creams, but the lather feels a lot more protective, if not that much of an improvement to glide...

However, add a dab of glycerine and you get some looooovely lather

Mitchell's Wool fat is among the best soaps and has a very weak scent. I mix it with creams all the time for the best of both worlds

i do it on occasion.. when i'm feeling crazy.. but lately i've been trying to cut down on the lather waste.. i'm down to a single pass and hate to create way more than i'm going to use.. so now i'll load my brush with soap and ad the smallest little tiny bit of cream.. just enough to thicken up the soap.. and i do mean small.. less than the size of a pea.

Mixing is the best of both worlds, I load up my damp brush with MWF and then a dollup of Tebac cream goes into the bottom of the scuttle then mix the two together with no water for 20 seconds then start adding 10 drops of water and mix and add more drops and mixing until you get something you like, just remember you dont need a whole bowlfull of lather to make 3 passes.

I have been mixing MWF with CarrieM's creams. Black Rasberry Vanilla and Dragon's Blood.

I then alternate and mix Mamabear's soaps with TOBS cream. I usually use Mamabear's Trade Winds or Dragon's Tears with the TOBS Avocado cream.
