    Default Powdered Shave Cream

I generally shave using uberlather mixing any variety of soaps that I have with some glycerin and some C. O. Bigellow soap from Bath and Body works.
In the Wiki here on SRP the uberlather demo is made with powdered shave cream. What is a quality brand of powdered shave cream. I have seen a few at Wal Mart and other such large stores under the brand of "Magic Cream" or other such generic names in a plain red white and blue can. What is a quality brand of powdered shave cream?

If you are referring to these SoftSheen-Carson - Magic Shave, they are not shaving creams; they are depilatories. They are intended for razorless hair removal. Depilatories often contain chemicals that attack the hair at the surface of the skin (or slightly below) and break it down, they are usually pretty acidic. I would be concerned to use a brush of natural bristles with these products. I remember depilatories being popular among the ladies.

    Al raz.

if that is what you are referring to.. i'd advise against it.. you're basically burning your face. i remember hearing a horror story about one of those powders from a fireman neighbour when i was a kid.. he fell asleep with the stuff on.. iirc.
