Thread: Old Dominion Soap Company

Anybody ever use their products? I ran across them today on Ebay when ordered another Omega boar brush. They sound like they have some interesting products, and lots of good feedback. I was just wondering if anybody here had any experience with their stuff.

The first soap I bought was from OD. I also bought my brush and "mug" from them. I've been using the brush/mug/stand since day one and I've enjoyed it.

The lady that runs the store is really nice and very fair to deal with. The soap was average I guess, but I wasn't really knowledgeable enough to know the difference between good and/or not so.....

I have tried it but was not really anything to write home about. I guess it may be the water around here but many of the hard soaps do not give me a great lather. Their soap was a bit heavy on the fragrence end as well.

I just got my samples from Colleen, so my collection swelled quite a bit. The testing is on-going but I'm reporting in after every shave
