    Default Soap recipe upgrade

I have been using a mixture of CREMO, Glycerine and Mineral Oil for sometime now. A few days ago I found an old bottle of Alberto VO5 Conditioner in my closet and mixed some into my soap mixture. Works quite well.

I quite often use conditioner as a beard prep in the shower. Just rub a load in, wait a minute and rinse it out, and it really helps soften the beard for the shave.

Jerry , I woulda thought mineral oil would block the pores of your skin , I ve used olive oil but it gave me a few zitz and I never hardly get any pimples so I blamed the oil

I think you have a good point about using baby oil instead of mineral oil in my recipe. Thanks for your thoughts on the matter...........

you are welcome.. keep in mind that baby oil pretty much is mineral oil.. albeit a lighter version.

I don't mind the mineral oil but as you accurately pointed out, there is a definite difference in viscosity.

    Thanks again Vic............
