Where to find special shaving bowl?
I watched a shaving video on the web the other day that showed the lather being scraped off the blade onto a bowl with a rubber rim. This looked like a great way to avoid hitting the blade on the faucet to trying to wash it.
Does anyone know where a bowl like this can be found?
Thanks,
Tom

Something like this?
I believe they can be found much cheaper, but I was only looking for the pic.

Tom,
I've never heard of a rubber-rimmed mug, but that's a neat idea. I use a barber's towel to wipe off the shaving cream after each pass, that way I'm not getting my razor wet or risking hitting it on the sink or faucet and also I can see if I'm still removing hair after each successive pass.

I believe you can buy those Marvy mugs for around $5 bucks. Maybe Tony has them?

It was really a small shallow bowl with a rubber ring on the top of the rim. If I can find the video again, I'll post its address.

Thats a strange concept. The blade shouldn't come in contact with anything; wiping it on the side of the bowl? I'll have to see the video. So I suppose the shaved whiskers go back into the cream?
