Jack Black products
Anyone here used Jack Black products before? Never heard of them til I went to the mall with the wife on Monday and was roaming around while she was in the changing room. Seen a few of the Jack Black products in JC Penney. A lady gave me a sample of some shave cream. Not sure exactly which one it is but do I use the brush to make the lather with that stuff or what? Is it MADE to lather?

a friend of mine has the whole jack black line and from what i understand.. it's brushless.. but you could try it and see what happens.. quite a few creams that are never meant for the brush whip up quite well.

so i'm sure there is more than one type of cream.. if yours is a white cream.. then give it a try.. an almond size amount in a bowl with a damp brush and a few drops of water may just do the trick.

I use the Jack Black shaving cream and post shave cooling gel regularly, and I think the cream rivals the Art of Shaving and Castle Forbes creams in terms of lather and cushion. The cream is meant to use with a brush, but they also make a "Beard Lube" that can be used as a pre-shave as well as shaving gel - this is the brushless stuff, and I haven't tried it.

I used the Jack Black Cream.. didn't really care for the scent that much and I have found other items that cost less and perform better for me. It was really oily compared to most other creams in my opinion too.

I used to use Jack Black shaving gel at the gym. I've never tried the cream. I think the gel is good with multi-blade razors, but does not provide the cushion necessary for de or straight razor shaving.
