One or two of these with the soaps in a large tupperware-type container ought to do the trick. Might end up with really dry soap, though.

Thanked: 11Wow Wow!!
+1 on the barometer and the silica gel site
Although I keep my soaps and creams in a drawer in a different room to cut back from the moisture problem I never thought to look on how much silica gel packets were on the web. Very acceptable price. My current thermometer was the cheapy $15 one back in the day without a barometer however it has also lasted me about 6 years so far.
I don't mind if the soap is too dry but that idea to buy maybe 20 or so really could be my solution. You guys rock!

Thanked: 11Hey Guys,
One of the things I'm good at when it comes to researching something is to procrastinate until I find the right solution.
This may have already been mentioned but by keeping the soaps in an old cigar box with each soap separately wrapped in a piece of paper towel that's just enough to cover the soap and no more. This allows any moisture that expels from the soap to be absorbed immediately and sticks to the soap.
Since I'm using decent paper towel (Bounty) it doesn't flake off as would toilet paper.
All of my soap is bone dry and I couldn't be happier or more surprised. Pics to come.
