Default The manliest shaving soaps ever!

    Wet Shave Soap- Whiskey

    Wet Shave Soap- Tobacco

It says they are restocking. I'm placing an order for whiskey anyways.

EDIT: Never mind, I have to wait until they are back in stock..

My vote would go to the Fitjar Telemark shave cream. This cream looks like dry mud and when you whip up lather, it smells like Elk meat smoking over an open camp fire.

By the way, you can order these products from West Coast Shaving as they now carry Portland General Store. I ordered directly from PGS and have the Tobacco on the way.

    I just looked up Telemark:
The rich smell of sunburnt timber cabins treated with pine tar. The scent of a man just returned from chopping wood. Moss and forest, a hint of resin and wood smoke. This fragrance is not for everyone.
I believe you are correct! Now, if only one would make a scent of a man who just got back from chopping wood while drinking whisky and is now smoking a cigar while cooking elk...

That was fast. Keep an eye on their Etsy storefront here:

They also have some info on B&M stores that might carry their products. Maybe one is near you.

I favorize Calani-soaps, handmade by Cathy in Germany.

Just an FYI - it's closed until spring (Colleen is moving from WV to NH) but I'm fairly certain The Gentleman's Quarter also carries a whiskey scent and a tobacco scent (Cavendish Black??). I haven't had an opportunity to try soaps from The Portland General Store but, IMHO, the lather produced by TGQ soaps is amazing and definitely puts it in running with the big dogs (TOBS, Harris, MWF, etc.).

You may find it worth giving a try when she re-opens.

I have the Whisky. I bought it about a yr ago and did a review which you can find in reviews. Very hard to lather, but very good lather when you get there! The scent is not for everyone I can assure you!

The manliest shaving soap? Why, Tabac of course! Definitely not for pansies or the faint of heart....
