1 year is not bad. I too have enough for many years. I bought CF lime over a year ago and it looks like i have never used it. Quite a few seem to last for a long time. Dont try to figure it out just enjoy the journey! If there are some you know you dont use then sell them.

Ive got so many because im in the search for the perfect soap and/or cream. It turns out the more i but the more perfect combination's Ive got lol. This question just isnt for soaps though. Why do I have 5 strops and 12 razors? SAD BAD and RAD Truth be told I just like it all and some times I shave twice a day just cause I can.

    LOL - That sounds familiar

The majority of my soaps, and some of my creams, are barely dished let alone on the verge of being finished. That includes some products that I picked up 1.5-2 years ago. And it's not from a lack of use either, they just last a REALLY long time.

being a victim of this particular AD myself, should I be concerned that these products might go bad over time?

These products do have an expiry date, although IME as long as they are not stored open-air and they are free of moisture you should be fine.

Even with such a stockpile I still feel like I need to conserve. I try not to use too much or wear things out. Even to the point of saving and using a razor thin mostly transparent bar of soap.

I tell myself come on! Toss that soap sliver, load the brush with soap, pour a quarter cup of witch hazel out and rub it all over your head.

I guess my folks trained me "waste not, want not" and "take what you want, eat what you take". It's a hard habit to break.

Why would you want to break it? I tell SWMBO that I'm frugal, not cheap!

Mind you, if you are ready to try new soap, go ahead and toss that paper thin cake... bit I don't see either stockpiling nor frugality as bad traits.

My current rotation is 24 soaps and 19 creams, but there are still another 10-15 soaps and several creams I want.
