A Smal Arsenal in the Post
I just got a little gift from the postman. I decided that variety was the spice of life so I spent my Christmas money from grandma (yes I still get money from grandma she's awesome) on soap. Now my house smells great.
From Ogallala I got the cologne and aftershave bonanza pack, shave soap sample pack, dry skin balm, air freshener and the soap/shampoo bar.
I also made an order to a friend of mine in Virginia who makes handcrafted soaps and recently added a couple of shave soaps. The scents include: red clover tea, mansoap, berry nice, lavender with flower buds, cucumber aloe, english countryside with chamomile, Amy's vanilla, gift of the magi, satsuma orange, and plan B; as well as bay rum shave soap and spicy lime shave soap. Reviews to come as well as contact information. If I decide to reveal my source.
I think that I'll be set for a while, but I am already looking at other soap sites. I'm entering a spiral here. The great thing about soaps is that they are relatively cheap and the variety out there far surpasses any other aspect of this hobby.
Boy, you add on the fact that I just got a new dog today and this is turning into a pretty good weekend (despite the cold).

The fragrances you describe sound soooo inviting. Congrats!
As for feeding your SAD...Try some Mama Bear's, Caswell Massey and Cade and/or L'Occitane soaps. You may also want to checkout BullGoose Shaving and ShoeBox Shave Shop. They have some nice shaving soaps too. One of them, I can't remember which, also has a nice selection of hand and bath soaps."Age is an issue of mind over matter.
