Thread: Wife's Gift

My wife went ahead and got some stuff called Kyoku. Did she just waste some money on something that isn't good for Straight shaving? We may still be able to get a refund. Any good or bad word?

Hmm, I have never heard about it before.
I would try it and see how it works, and if it doesn't work
great as a shave cream try it as a pre-shave.

I have a few non-lather shave creams that make
for fantastic pre-shave treatments.

Let us know how it goes.

i say.. since your wife was being thoughtful.. you should tell her how much you appreciate her gift and put it on the shelf.. if you like it.. good.. if not... you'll have something to use in a pinch.

I give your wife an A+ for trying to get you somthing nice. even if it turns out to be bad soap i admire her effort.
