    Default p.160?

i just got my order of p.160 in the mail so i had to try it out right away. it smells great, just one question, for those who use or have used this, do you use it like a soap and load your brush or as a cream and just plop some in your bowl/mug/scuttle? it seems really thick to use as a cream, i just put a dollop in my mug and did it that way but after the shave still had a small blob left in the bottom of the mug. just looking for how you guys do it. might try it like a soap tomorrow.

I have used it both ways. Using it as a soap is definitely less wasteful and the quality of the lather is exactly the same.

    Talking good stuff

after soaking my brush i shook it lightly to drop half the water out.swirled the brush on the p. 4-5x getting a light coating and went to the 5" pyrex bowl.this was my first time using the stuff as well and i had very good results.it smells like one of granmas almond cookies with the cherry on top.im glad i bought a kilo, cuz this is going in the rotation.if joseph has more in march ill get another kilo so i never run out.

    sinnfein,

If you want to use a 'scoop out a dollop' method, the best way is to smear the dollop (ca. pea sized) into a very thin layer around your shave bowl/mug before you start the lathering process.

That way you will not end up with unused globs of soap

The P160 Morbido is hard enough to use like a conventional soap puck, and more so for the P160 Duro.

    Have fun !

    Best regards

I have and use both. Love the stuff. I recommend treating it as a soap. you would have to scoop out a very small amount, about the size of a pea in order not to waste it. It really is hard enough, that you can treat it as a hard soap. Great lather and performance, love the smell, this is the last soap I will ever use more than likely.

The Morbido I use as a puck in a bowl,or just a wadded up ball of it for face lathering.
Buy it when you can find it,they stopped making it about 3 mos ago.Would suggest a Kilo buy if you can find it.
