I have Queen Charlotte Key Lime and its really great, awsome scent and with a peanut size of that soap you have enouygh lather for 3 pass+. But it's a hard cream or soft soap.

My favorite lime soap is the Old Tallow version of Trumper Limes. Great scent and unbelievable performance. Why they reformulated this soap is beyond me.

i just make my own shaving soap unscented and add about 2 drops of an essential oil such as lime essential oil and whip it up!! its great because i can use one scent one day and a different one the next. lime essential oil is very very good! the cheapest place for essential oils is iherb.com. very good quality and excellent prices!

I too hae been on the lookout for a good lime soap to uber with my castle forbes lime and trumpers limes creams. I have read and heard that QED limes soap is excellent , the scent is true lime and the EO is top notch,I will be ordering from them shortly. I also have and used srd soaps and IMO are leaps and bounds better than Mama bears soap but again its just my preference , and I have not tried the "lime" srd version.

Thanks for the input. Is it the quality of the scent, the lather, or some other feature of the SRD you prefer over mama bears? I have both but have yet to do a side by side comparison as I've mainly used them both in uberlather.

I think its just a preference thing. I like that SRD has ( for the most part) 1 note scents. Vetiver is vetiver, sandalwood is sandalwood. Mama bears tends to mix different scents together which could be a great thing if u like that ( for example I have her sandalwood vanilla and it is too sweet for my liking) In terms of latherabilty i usually bowl lather and uber it up with my soaps, but I can face lather with SRD soap with no problem, I cant really do that with mama bears , it seems to dissipate on my face, also I dont know if its the EO used but my face doesnt feel as good with MB then with SRD. Again I think its just a preference thing. I can say this though MB soaps are very good for the price, almost half the price of one tub of SRD soap.

Thanks for the reply. I'll have to face lather with them to compare. I was very impressed with the EO in the SRD soaps. They are very pure.

I also agree with you on mama bear's sandalwood vanilla. Its a good combo but would be better drier, with more sandalwood and less vanilla.
