Thanked: 20Hi Victor, I'm a new comer to straight razor shaving, been doing it now for about six weeks.
I have been using Col Conk Bay Rum glycerin based soap but I am now finding that it dries my skin out too much. In my last shave order to Fendrihan's they sent me a sample of Baxter's super shave cream and I used it this morning.
I was quite impressed with the cushioning and lubrication it provided. A nice clean shave. I have recently purchased a tub of Castle Forbes shaving cream so I will see how that goes.
Hope this helped a bit.
Chris

I got 2 samples of the baxters and the aftershave balm was so good I had to share. IM glad you liked it.
I have not tried the shave cream yet but Im getting some of that AS soon!
Glad you like the Garlic Parm. Its the fresh and the fire roasted garlic that take it to the next level!
EDIT: Oh yeah I got the Bairlea Farms cucumber/melon shave soap and tried it today. (Victor Ill carve you off a hunk next time we hook up) I had a really good shave with it. I recommend it.
