Default How many creams/soaps are enough?

So... how do you know when you've bought too much shaving cream?

    What's everyone's average?

Let me preface this... I love good smelling things; shaving cream, cologne, cookies, new guitars, women, etc.

    I already own:
    Trumper's Sandalwood cream
    Penhaligon's Opus 1870 cream
    Penhaligon's Endymion cream
    Truefitt's Trafalgar cream

    I just ordered:
    Castle Forbes Lavander cream
    Castle Forbes Lime Cream
and Trumper's Rose Soap (my first soap ever)

I figured 7 should be my limit since there's 7 days in a week. But since I only shave every other day, I figure I've got 2+ years' worth of cream.

A year ago, before I discovered the joys of wonderfully scented cream, I would have thought someone with 7 creams is a little wacky... to say the least. But what do you guys average? Please tell me I'm not the only one with Shaving Cream Acquisition Disorder... and if you had to chose 7 scents what would they be?

p.s. one final thought, scents are related to food right, and if we ate the same food every day it would become bland... therefore, since our palate likes variety, similarly by rotating scents, we might thus appreciate each scent all the more. Justification complete.

I have about 25 soaps and about 20 creams , so ur not alone, I like varietyand I'm always trying to find the best product for my face too. Castle Forbes and trumpers are top notch performers, dr.Harris products are great As well.

Edit: my top favorite scents are; vetiver, sandalwood, lime, menthol, rose, anything musk like

Good thing is if you stop at some point and continue to shave you should be able to use it all and not waste it.

I have about 60 soaps and creams. I can go two months and not use the same thing twice. You are definitley not alone. Soaps and Cream collecting is just as a addictive as Razors and Hones....I can tell you this, Most quality soaps and creams can last for years if kept in a proper enviorment. Soaps of course last longer, sometimes they loose their scent. 95% of them are great, There are some I would not buy again, and I've narrowed it down to about 5 creams, and 5 soaps that are keepers....I enjoy trying/testing them...

I have not even stopped to count. Let's just say, I probably have enough soap to last 20 years easily.

I feel like such an underachiever. I only have four:

Proraso soap in the green tub (most frequently used)
Truefitt & Hill West Indian Limes cream
St. Charles Shave New Spice cream
    AOS Unscented

I couldn't get those into the space that's allowed to me (it would fit into the mrs. space though ).

    In my cupboard:
    Proraso pre 500mil
    Mitchell's Wool Fat Soap
    Cella almond soap
    Palmolive stick
    Castle Forbes Lavender
    Acca Kappa almond
    Acca Kappa 1869 or thereabouts
    St James Cedarwood & Clarysage
    and ... and ... that's it !
    (I got about 80 razors though )

Say, how long can soaps and creams be kept ? And I mean, in a good way, with full scent etc. ??
