Edwin Jagger Problems
Hi all,
About two months ago I bought a tub of Edwin Jagger Aloe Vera Traditional Shaving Soup (the one in the small black travel tub). It worked well for a while and I was very happy with the shaves it gave. However, now it has turned into a gloopy mess. It no longer acts like a hard milled soap and I've squashed it into the bottom of the bowl. It still lathers ok but I can't say I like it as much as I used to. What's going on? Any ideas??
Thanks,
Harry

Can't really tell you what is going on but can tell you that you are not alone in this. I am having the same problem with the Edward Jagger Sandalwood shave soap in the travel case. At this point found better soaps anyway so have been considering just using it as a bath soap till its gone and keeping the case for another soap.

I think it could be water left in the tub. I've squashed mine into the bottom of the tub and let it dry without the lid on. Still not great but usable.

Heck, that's your problem right there. You can't get no lather from soup you need soap. Maybe the chicken is better but some say tomato is best but if you bleed you can't see it then and...oh... you mean soap
Soap shouldn't change unless it's really old or subject to being in the sun or near heat.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero
