The Hardest soap
So I was wondering what soap people think is the hardest of the hard soaps out there?

Thanked: 6I have TOBS, Harris, and Trumpers.
Harris is probably the "hardest" soap of the three.

Harris, Trumper's, MWF ..... I throw a splash of water on the puck and walk away for five minutes before lathering. The brush soaking in the lather bowl. I dump the contents of the lather bowl, use the water that was on top of the puck for lathering. Works pretty well.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I think any triple milled soap will be very hard and most of the English Milled Soaps are made by just 1 or 2 outfits anyway.

Thanked: 1195As the others have said, pretty much any English soap is as hard as they come. And a lot of them are glycerin based too, which debunks the theory that glycerin soaps are soft, which is generally the case.
