I have TOBS, Harris, and Trumpers.

Harris is probably the "hardest" soap of the three.

Harris, Trumper's, MWF ..... I throw a splash of water on the puck and walk away for five minutes before lathering. The brush soaking in the lather bowl. I dump the contents of the lather bowl, use the water that was on top of the puck for lathering. Works pretty well.

mwf.. stuff is rock hard.. i grated mine into a wood dish.. now when i splash water on top.. i walk away for a few minutes and the soap absorbs all the water.. it's thirsty.

I think any triple milled soap will be very hard and most of the English Milled Soaps are made by just 1 or 2 outfits anyway.

As the others have said, pretty much any English soap is as hard as they come. And a lot of them are glycerin based too, which debunks the theory that glycerin soaps are soft, which is generally the case.
