Default Arko.......how do I use it???

I got a nice surprise today. The mailman knocked on my door with a small nice smelling package from Macedonia. I un-wrapped it to find two tubes of Arko shave soap from none other than my buddy Nenad. Thank you my friend!

Interesting looking stuff with this graphic of a guy that looks like he walked right out of 1950 with his face all lathered up. My wife thought it smelled exactly like the local health food store <g>. My question is.....how do I use these long cylindrical tubes of soap??

Thanks again Nenad, I can't wait to try them out.

Some gents use it like a QED stick: rub some on the face and build the lather there. I just gently squished it into one of my small Ziploc bowls to use as a regular shave soap.

    Tony,

Simply unwrap one end and rub it over your face. Yes, it's a shave stick and is easy to use. The scent is nice, not long lasting, and if applied correctly (against the grain), will result in a great lather. It's the first soap I ever used to build lather directly on my face.

Hey Tony, it was My pleasure

Just take the soap, breake it in half, and squish (force) it in your favorite shaving mug with your thumbs. Then, you use it just like your regular soap. That's a trick from a local barber here. The soap has waxy consistancy, and it looks hard, but you can work it in.

have fun, and tell us how you like it,
    Nenad

    Gregg,

Arko is available in tubes like toothpaste, but Tony, like me, has the shave stick. You can find them here. The link is to the shaving stick, not the creams, which come in tubes. I like the Arko stick better than Williams.
