    Default C. O. Bigelow

For you gentlemen who are C. O. Bigelow fans, I just stopped into Bath & Bodyworks at the local mall and found they are having a sale - buy 2 get a 3rd item of equal or lesser price free. I don't know if the sale is local or nationwide, but you might want to check if you're interested. The sale appeared to apply to most items in the store, not just the Bigelow (remember Mother's Day is 2 days away).

I've never tried the C. O. Bigelow before. I hope I like it because I now have 3 of the 5.2 oz. tubes.

c.o. bigelow is a great soap. it's the same thing as the italian soap, proraso. i'm sure you've heard of it before. it has a nice methol feeling to it and cools your face in between passes and after the shave. if you get sick of it, send it to me!

    Hello, hcintineo:

Yes, Bigelow is Proraso in a different suit of clothes. To my knowledge, however, it comes only in cream and not soap. Either way, it is good stuff.

    Regards,

    Obie

yep, obie's right. i just figured since the OP was talking about the cream that i would just mention the proraso cream. but proraso also has a soap, along with the cream.

Yes, yes, of course, hcintineo. Although Bigelow does not come in soap, Proraso does. I like the green tea version of the soap. The Eucalyptus fragrance is a bit too potent for my beak. It's all good stuff, though.

I'm a uberlatherer. When I found out that the Bigelow doesn't come in a soap I decided to pair the cream with some Crabtree & Evelyn unscented almond oil soap. For some reason C&E stopped making that soap a long time ago, but I have a few pucks stashed

i have done this as well using proraso cream (c.o. bigelow) and omega soap and a few drops of glycerin. it combines to make a nice menthol feeling, which is nice since the weather has been getting warmer.

C.O. Bigelow is my everyday shaving cream. I just love the smell and how easy it lathers. I always keep a tube on hand!
