suggestions...?
I have searched and even asked in the ladies only section... Here is my query :
I am looking for a feminine scented shaving soap, and seeing as I have NO shops anywhere near here to smell them myself, I am coming to all of you
Please advise a novice DE shaver of a "girly" scented (preferrably inexspensive since I am new LOL) soap or cream. Currently, I use my bf's brush and Williams I picked up at CVS. (he uses Tabac which smells great...for him, not for me)
Thanks in advance ya'll

Member CarrieM makes a fantastic lilac scented cream which-- if you like lilac-- will make you VERY happy... it smells just like the real thing!
MWF has a nice unisex aroma-- lanolin, faint notes of sandalwood, tobacco flower, and citronella.
Unfortunately, most of my soaps and creams are more in the "man" category... hopefully more ladies will chime in!

Thanked: 4T&H has creams in rose and lavender. I have them left from a sample pack I got from them a few weeks ago. I think there are also some similar scents in the GFT Sample pack I picked up. I'll send them off for you to try if you like as they will just collect dust until I toss them out.

Another thing you could do is get some Van Der Hagen soap(costs between $1 and $2 usually) which has a light almond scent. Grate it up into a microwave safe cup or bowl and melt it. When melted, pour it into your shave mug/bowl and add whatever scent you want such as perfume or essential oils. Never tried it myself yet but have read of many who have and says it works.

In addition to the aforementioned items, you can check our MamaBear Soaps, she has quite a selection of unisex scents. I've also recently become a huge fan of Al's Bombs (alsshaving.com). He will do a custom scent for you, just let him know what you want. Another option, available at my local rite aid, is Real Shaving Co. cream. It comes in a tube and there are multiple scents, it produces a decent lather and I forget which one I have right now but it's not quite unscented but it is definitely not a "masculine" scent. I mix it with VDH and glycerin for some uberlather when I shave my wife's legs. It runs about $6 a tube and is with the mens shaving stuff there.
