Thread: Good Italian soap brands

My buddy is going off to Roma to present a paper and asked me if I needed anything. Since I can't afford one of Maestro's blades, I was thinking of ordering a couple of cakes of a good shaving soap. Are there any good Italian brands that I can have him get me (and for himself as he's my recent convert to DE-ism)?

I have used Valobra for years. Great stuff, great lather, stays for the whole shave.

Thanks guys. I already passed on the brand to my buddy. Had a b**** of a time finding him at the airport.. First he sent me to the wrong terminal, then I went to another wrong terminal by my own mistake, finally found him at the right terminal, and once I shipped him off across the pond, I couldn't find my car. On a good note, later on that night, I watched my former boss slow-sip a shot of Harley-Davidson Prairie Fire that I bought him.. Pure agony

P.S. I was nice enough to advise him to just down it, but he didn't trust the voice of experience lol
