I recently got a sample of Endymion, courtesy of our friend Str8Shooter (thanks man!). I've only had one shave with it so far, and all I can say is I'm very impressed. I love the scent, it made mounds of lather very easily, had plenty of glide and felt great after shaving. What more can you ask for?

My only problem will be hiding my credit card bill from the wife when I do get around to ordering my own tube.....

Just ask to see her credit card bill from when she buys makeup, skin cream and shoes - and she'll be VERY quiet VERY fast

Then order a tub of Penhaligon ShaveCream, a tub of of Castle Flowers and a tub of Acqua Di Parma ShaveCream

Hey, a ShaveCream bro' - I actually was very close to also buy the Acqua Di Parma - but I will wait until next month with that, it costs $85 for a 125 ml tub here in Denmark and $75 on www.strawberrynet.com

No, you're not crazy. You're an SRP member with a SCAD (Shaving Cream Acquisition Disorder).

Penhaligon's will thank you. Castle Forbes will thank you. D. R. Harris will thank you. Taylor or Old Bond Street will thank you. Trufitt & Hill will thank you. Proraso will thank you.

And above all, your face will thank you.

    Take care--and smooth shaving.

You're right about that. We need to spend more to get the economy going - nice excuse for buying a stock of ShaveCreams

I've tried the Blenheim Bouquet. It's a good cream, nicely packaged BUT I would also recommend Castle Forbes: also a luxury brand but imho it performs better.

@Ryan82: didn't I read somewhere that Domenico Caraceni stopped production of their shaving cream ?

edit: didn't read through to the end, sorry for being late
seems you have enough shaving creams for a while
BUUUUUUT you forgot Castle Forbes' Lavender cream

Sorry, but I bought it - just forgot to add it to my list in here

I now have this on its way to me from UK, Scottish and Danish online shops:

    1. Castle Flowers Lime
    2. Caste Flowers Lavender
    3. Penhaligon Endymion
    4. Penhaligon Blenheims Bouquet
    5. Truefitt & Hill Ultimate Comfort
    6. Truefitt & Hill Sandalwood Comfort
    7. Dr. Harris Arlington
    8. Taylor of Old Bond Street Jermyn Street Collection TOBS
    9. Proraso Shaving
    10. Bluebeard Revenge

All of the above being ShaveCreams
    I'm not a soap guy I guess !

No more shavecreams for me this year - or I'll have to throw the stuff out i already bought.....
Unless I fall over a good offer on a pot of aqua di Parma ShaveCream of course

    Now that's funny ...

So, for next year, you might want to consider
    (1) Acca Kappa Almond
    (2) Acca Kappa 1869 (also fairly sweet)
    (3) Officina Profumo - farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella (a bit like proraso, but better)

    And for soaps
    (1) Mitchell's WFS
    (2) Martin de Candre

By any chance, does anyone know what the real period is that you can actually keep and use shaving creams ? Most of them mention a use-by period of 12M.
