Thanked: 1195Cade is quickly becoming a favourite soap in my rotation. Nice fresh scent, easy to lather, good cushion and great moisturization - sounds like a winner to me!

For Ukraine it is not such expensive soap (it’s expensive, but we cannot get here good soap cheaper).
For example I can order Williams soap with price 5,04$ for 50 mg, so I can order 150 mg Williams soap for 17,82$. But I can order L’Occitane cade soap (150 mg) for 18,45$ (I had order it on eBay, but I still didn’t ask price in local shop, maybe it will be cheaper). We have difference in price less then 1 dollar! But really quality and everything incomparably.

Thanked: 0[QUOTE=GeauxLSU;832418]The best part is the price, $10 for the refill soap, $28 for the soap and metal bowl. By contrast, AOS's lavender soap refill is $26.

Are you sure the soap and the bowl together cost only $28? When I bought a month ago my puck from a NYC L'Occitane store also for $10, the metal bowl was $28, but without the soap.

After reading such wonderful things about Cade soap pucks and the AS, I decided to go and get them both today. AS was $30 though, but worth a shot. Here's a pic of them both and to give an idea of size.. A pack of cigarettes for comparison.
Is this puck able to be melted down, or must I shave it with my chz grater??

You can't melt it, but grating works. I just pressed mine into an Ikea bowl

I love the scent of Cade, decent performance, but it isn't the soap I reach for most often.
