Thread: New Shaving Soap

My Crabtree and Evelyn (never could get used to the name "Crabtree" :P) is running out and it's time for a new one. But I'd like to try something new.

I'm tossing over either Col. Conk, Proraso or Williams.

Col. conk is probably at the top of my list, just for the nostalgia. But I'm also interested in Proraso and Williams. Williams seems to be tough to find in Aus though, and my concern is that, since Proraso comes in a bowl I won't be able to use it with the scuttle I'm getting.

Thoughts?

C.O. Bigelow in a tube; my every other day soap. Lathers well.

It's just proraso that has been rebranded for a shopping gallery chain, bed bath & beyond.

The proraso is good stuff. I'm a bigger fan of the palmolive creme in a tube. For the price ( 2&euro it can't be beat.

O.K., so where can I get Palmolive creme without ordering online?
I GOOGLED with only online stores that sell.

I've had the palmolive shaving stick before, never tried the tube. The only tube cream I've tried was faulding which my housemate at the time hilariously thought was toothpaste

Premium Shave Cream with Eucalyptus Oil - C.O. Bigelow - Bath & Body Works

My folks were on vacation over to the eurozone this spring and I had them pick me up a couple tubes of it. I don't know that it is sold in any brick & mortar stores in the US unless it's a specialty shaving/grooming type of store.

We have it here in chemists, if anyone wants some I can buy it for them and post it as long as they paypal me the cost of the product and postage
