Thanked: 2burts bee's shave cream???
Hello,
I was at Target buying shampoo and deodorant today. I strolled by the razors to see how much money I was saving by using a str8 razor and stumbled on Burts Bee's shave cream. Has anyone used it? All the reviews I've seen say it doesn't lather like normal shave soap and that is smells amazing. You just wet your skin and put it on. Any info from a straight razor user would be great!
Thanks,
Chris

Thanked: 3It is non lathering, I tried it once. Did half my face, finally got it washed off my razor, and my face, lathered up some real soap and finished my shave.
Gave it to the wife, at the time, she tried it and threw it away.
YMMV, as usual.

Thanked: 1195I've heard about guys using it for uberlather, which is kinda surprising because you'd think a non-lathering product would kill the lather of a fine lathering product, but I digress.
Anyway, most find it an unsuitable product for traditional wetshaving on its own.

I used the entire tube. Thought best not to waste lol. On it's own don't bother trying to shave mix it with a good soap and it does make a nice lather. Good luck
