Thread: Beginner Q: Soap vs Cream? Which is easier to lather?

I tried it with the mach 3 and there was no discernable difference. once I get a handful of straight shaves under my belt I'll try it with that.

Once you get the straight and are comfy with it I'm sure you'll see a difference. Another idea for you if you stumble across a decently priced Gillette Fat Boy or Slim one of those would be worth picking up. They're great adjustable DE razors and with all of the blade options out there (Feather, Gillette 7 O'clock, etc) you may find a great combo that helps for the tougher areas while you're figuring out the straight.
