anyone grate and combine 2 soaps?
I love the scent of AOS lemon, but prefer the softness I have all day with MWF.
I was thinking about grating them together to make a lemon MWF.
Has anyone tried this?
Thanks

You'll find that the purists on the site will be rolling on their hones. Mix soaps!!!
What I do is shave off a piece of the round or the stick and press it into the bottom of the lather bowl. The original stays dry and labeled.
With MWF there's usually some left in the bowl. I'll save it and mix with the next sliver of the next soap I use.

Thanked: 31I've been mixing 3 parts Williams(grated) to 1 Part VHD. Basically using the melted VHD to hold the grated williams together. Works good sofar. slows down williams from dryin so fast, and still keeps williams aroma. (mostly) I'll get some higher end soaps and creams for christmas.
