Wandering the Martin de Candre neighborhood
Gentlemen,
I stumbled across this site today. I have not researched it, nor have I bought anything from it — yet. It appears to be an American vendor that carries Martin de Candre products. Happy hunting.

Obie,
I came across this site too, quite a while ago. They are local. By that I mean the Indianapolis, IN metropolitan area, I believe.
I was about to order from them, but I think they have outrageous shipping charges. I'll check and see."Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter." Mark Twain

Jhenry,
My dear friend, yes, please do find out their charges — and anything else you can find out about them. As I mention in my note, I've had no time to research them. Many thanks.
Stay well.

Sounds like drop-shipping then. As far as I know MdC have no retailers outside France.

Theseus, my dear friend, thank you for your research. These shipping charges are insane. What is wrong with these people? Well, sir, I live in the U.S., and I can understand the outrageous charges Martin de Candre charges to ship from France. When somebody in the U.S. charges such outrageous shipping to a U.S. address, I turn up my nose and shuffle off. No, thank you.
Stay well.

This shop is not having these products in stock I'm sure, they just add their profit on top. Shipping of a soap direct from MdC to US is $23.
Which is a normal shipping price really. That's about what I have to pay for a priotity mail package shipped from US.-

If you think a few pucks of shaving soap is expensive to ship try ordering a few pounds of soap from MDC like my wife did. it will take your breath away and shrink your whiskers.

Thanked: 1195Hmmmm... the price this site shows me is $39.40 US for a jar. I didn't see anything about shipping charges, but I assume that I didn't get far enough into the checkout process, correct? Anyway, if shipping is indeed $32 extra that would make it comparable to buying directly from MdC. So the only advantage I can fathom is that you may get your order sooner than if shipped from France
Something else to consider that hasn't been mentioned yet: shipping charges seem to be calculated based on a minimum weight of 1.5 kg, which equals 3.3 lbs for our metric-challenged friends. It's either is a massive jar of MdC or a massive rip-off....
