Thanked: 6Comparison of three soaps
I'm fairly new to all of this, so haven't had a wide range of soaps to try out, but I do have three:
Fritjars Miklagard
Tabac
Colonel Conk's Bay Rum
Have to say the Fritjars is the best by far, at least for my skin and water (live in Yonkers, very good drinking water). Tabac is a close second, the Colonel Conk's a distant third (but came with a really nice handmade pottery bowl). I really like the Miklagard scent, kind of cedar-y, and my wife likes it as well, which is what really counts! The soap lathers up really easily, and provides nice lubrication. Very happy with it! YMMV, and the results may be due to water charactersistics in part. I do like the Fitjars also because it doesn't have parabens, methyl or otherwise, which may be harmful to humans with long exposure. Definitely will be getting more when I run out..
