Irisch Moos shaving cream : new reformulation..and for worst
Here are the ingredients of the Irisch Moos new shaving cream, which a member of www.foroafeitado.com have received today from Connaught shaving:
And these are the ingredients of the precious shaving cream, pretty similar than other german made shaving creams like Speick/florena/Edwin Jagger/Muhle/Anne Marie Borlind, creams that I really like.
Oh yeah, really good!Great!Lowering the quality...whats gonna be the next thing to be reformulated or even discontinued?

They have substituted some natural oils from Palm, coconut and stearic acid with some "chemicals" like Laureth-5 Carboxylic Acid / Truth In Aging or PEG/ PPG-14/ 4 DIMETHICONE || Skin DeepĀ® Cosmetics Database | Environmental Working Group
A gentlemen whom I trust have tried both formulations and while the new makes the same kind o f lather, the skin care proteccion of the old one is much better than the new one (no surprise about this).Im expecting both samples to try them out and speak for myself.I hope that M&W wont touch the current shaving stick ingredients.

Thanked: 6I try to use shaving creams/soaps without these chemicals and also without the parabens and methyl-parabens. Not good for you. The environmental working group (EWG Home | Environmental Working Group) has some great information and guidelines on a lot of products. On a side note, I used them a lot trying to find a decent sun protection product after I had a stage 0 melanoma cut out... you would be surprised at the suntan products out there that use chemicals that have been shown to actually increase skin cancer possibilities on their own, without UV A and B.
