Thread: American Crew

Today, I tried American Crew Moisturizing Shave Cream and Balm. I used a 1960 Gillette Fatboy F2 with a Lord blade and a setting of 7.

To my surprise, the American Crew is fantastic. It certainly rivals my favorites standbys, Bigelow and Proraso Green. The cream was slick and moist and the shave was extremely comfortable. I plan to stick the AC MSC in my travel kit. It will make a great traveling cream.

I highly recommend the American Crew Moisturizing SC.

[I previously tried the American Crew Shaving Gel but didn't particularly like it. The gel seemed patchy, uneven, and less effective than the moisturizing SC.]
