Default To all you snurdlerless savages...

It's snurdle time! Actually, it's called a chashaku. It's a traditional Japanese green tea scoop. $5 in Little Tokyo.

    I like it Ebm!

I never got to respond to your question about a snurdle (it can be used to describe both the scooper itself and the amount of cream, as in a "snurdle of cream"), but that will do very nicely. I use a couple of my wife's unwanted decorative mini spoons, which adds a nice touch IMHO.

    Stay well,

    Ryan

    eflatminor,

In the UK, a small 'dollop' is equivalent to a 'snurdle'

The Imperial 'dollop' is interchangable with the metric 'dollop'

The best 'snurdler' I have is my old lab spatula (flat one end, semi-cupped the other); the semi-cupped end is perfect for scooping a measured 'snurdle' of cream or soft soap (Cella).

    Have fun !

    Best regards

    Russ
