Now I will say that the sandalwood is not as strong note is the lemon but the lavender is the same..i was told the pairing was new so maybe since the oil is on the front out isn't on the back..who knows

I haven't tries AOS products, but it always saddens me to hear of a company cheapening up their product lines. I guess that time will tell.

That is a bummer to hear. I had to stop by there today for a Royal Shave and I picked up a travel size of the new sandalwood cream to try out later. I agree that the scent has been weakened... let's just hope that the performance hasn't followed suit. For what my humble opinion is worth, I'll let ya guys know it handles for me next week.

So I called AoS today in regards to this thread to ask about the reformulation....without saying this is where I saw it and they said they haven't changed a thing since they started making shave creams. Now that I have joined this thread maybe I'll call back and quote the actual changes and see what they say!

ask them why the es oil isn't listed on the box in the ingredients.. I would love to hear what they say.. I mentioned it to the guy in the local store and he went over to the box read it then sorta walked away...classic

Thanked: 39It's a good thing that good soap is not all that hard to make. If one brand decides to lower the quality of their product, there are lots of other great independent producers out there. You can even make your own.

well the soap hasn't changed it is the cream
