Scenting the Unscented
I posted this on another shave forum and got zero response. Maybe I'll have better luck here.
I recently acquired in a batch purchase an unscented aftershave balm. Sure I suppose I could use it as is, unscented. But I'm wondering if there is an easy way to add a scent to it. My favourite is T&H 1805. I have some 1804 cologne samples, and was wondering if I could simply add that to the aftershave to scent it as I wish. Or is there some alchemy issue that I'm not aware of.
Any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated.

Dave, I don't see why not, but you better double-check with someone who knows more about this stuff, like Colleen.

You don't know who Colleen is? Don't worry Dave, I have some samples of her soaps that I'll throw in with the razor and you'll know all about her and the superb work she does. She's our soapmistress and she also dabbles in aftershaves, creams, edts and colognes.

Dave, thanks for the offer, and I like beer as much as the next guy, but I'd really feel crummy if I took it as I am doing this as a way of saying "thank you" to the whole community and passing on a good thing to a newbie. Guys like X and Nenad were really instrumental in my development and I'd like to be in someone else's.

The aforementioned Colleen, soapmistress extraordinaire, set me up with some essential oil to make "Gentlemen's Oak and Moss" scented lotion out of an unscented lotion...I am sure she can set you straight.
