Yup, after a little experiminting, I got it to work. I actually had to put a little more water in it and I put some on top of the soap in the dish to let it soften. I hadn't done that before thinking it was already soft. Thanks for the input and advice.

I know this is a bit off topic, but I figured I'd ask anyway...

The wife got me a brick of Cella. Not a tub, but an actual box with a huge lump of this soft soap in. I'm working my way through the last bit of soap I have left, and I've been wondering how to put it in the soap container. I understand the basic mechanics of it (grab a chunk and shove it in there) I am somewhat hopeful there's a... uh... better, less messy although not less manly, way.

Nope, just grab that chunk and press it into whatever that suits you.

I KNEW you were talking about Proraso when I saw this topic! I used to snurdle with my little finger, but now I twirl.

I think snurdling might be illegal in South Australia..., or is it legal here and illegal in Tasmania? Anyway, I think the punishment is being tied to a kangaroo and rubbed with koalas....

This makes it tempting to go there and snurdle. Me being a rebel without a cause and all......

ProRaso is a soft soap. I get great lather right from the tub without pre-soaking the soap but using a pre-soaked boar or badger brush. Sometimes for a change, I add cream to a bowl and whip up the loaded brush of soft soap on top of a dollop of cream.

    Manly enough for me.

I soaked my Proraso this morning like I do my other soap (Crabtree and Evelyn); normally I don't do that with Proraso (for some reason). I swirled with a nearly dry (but soaked) brush. The result was the best I'd had with Proraso, if anything, I used a little too much product. Thanks for the ideas
