I really like my Mamma bears Lilac Ice menthal. The bathroom smells nice for hours after I use it too.

Well unless other outside smell forces are introduced into the environment.

It has been about two months of shaves, I shave every other day but skipped a few here and there (DE shaved with a cream I've relegated to DE shaves only).

So lets say I've got 30 x 2 = 60, 60 - 5 = 55. 55 shaves equivalent, 55 x 20 (how many fractions of my purely speculative MB consumption) = 1,100. I've got to analyze the puck when I get home but even if I'm off by a factor of two that's about 3 years of shaving cut down into 1.5 years. If I shave every day that's 3/4ths of a year (9 months). Just sayin' for reference. I don't support the idea that these relatively soft glycerin soaps don't last a long time when used frugally.
Here in Amsterdam i do'nt use the soap sober, but just a bit over the top. I use a 26mm Silvertip and a xl schwarzweiskeramik scuttle. This is not al little scuttle and the lather is filed to the top of this scuttle. Enough for an average of 3 passes for face and head. So Or you let water stand too long on this soap, or you use soap very much more than me.( what I hardly think becorse i am a over the top user)
Is your soap dry when you put him away , or is he still wet?

I tracked once how many times I do with a tub of this soap.
I could shave with this tub 55 times. So for nearly two months by a everyday shave so not that bad i think.
Use a hard soap and you do longer whit a puck soap or you buy more soap in a year, its your choice.
I hate to think that i only use two pieces of soap in one year, and not so many variations of delicious smell and great lather.

I enjoy using both Mama Bears and Bald Frog. Objectively speaking, Bald Frog is the best because it stays wet the longest. Hope it's OK to recommend a product on this forum when a recommendation is requested.
