Default Vancouver BC - Anthony's has their own line of shave products

For those members in the Vancouver BC area, Anthony's Barber Supply in North Vancouver has started their own line of shaving products.

I went yesterday hoping to find some Polar Ice SC, but no luck, but I did buy a bottle of their Gold Shave Cream, and a bottle of Anthony's Gold Red Cedar AS.

GREAT products! The cream is in a pump bottle, and has a thin consistency out of the bottle, but it whipped up into a terrific lather, that stayed moisturized throughout a three-pass shave. Good glide and protection, and a very nice, old fashioned, lightly mentholated scent. I used it for a straight razor shave today, and the lather was on par with my gold standard - JM Fraser's cream.

The after shaves are similar to the Booster's products, and i saw a blue, polar-ice like one, plus a few others.

I was drawn to the Red Cedar and its terrific - a nice clean scent, with a good hit of cedar. It paired very well with L'occitane Vetyver cologne, which has some woodsy, cedar notes.

if you are local, then these products are well worth the jaunt over the Second Narrows.

Anthony's is on Main Street, two blocks past Mountain Equipment Coop.

Very interesting, thanks for sharing. Do you know if they sell online as well, or is it only through their brick and mortar store?

BTW - I also love JM Fraser's Polar Ice. I'm not sure if it's widely available in the States or abroad, so I don't know if non-Canadians know what we're talking about. I really should do a review one of these days...

They don't do online sales, but you can call and arrange mail order, I think.
