Travellers, shaving bowl or no shaving bowl.

Hi all, I am just wondering what you all use when you are on your travels?
Do you have a specific travel straight, shavette or safety razor and also my main question is what soap do you use when travelling? I don't have a huge wash bag and my shaving soap is a 150g tub, it is a little big and bulky just to take away for a week or two. Do you guys buy smaller tubs to take or do you have a little shaving bowl with a lid and just buy small replacement soaps or anything else weird and wonderful that I could consider?

i like the Palmolive shave stick really well(there are other options too) and always face lather any way.

Transfer your favourite soap into an empty shave-stick container.

I travel with a DE, tuck of blades, synthetic travel brush, small alum and a shave stick. Add to that some AS/Edt. I face lather at home or away so no bowl. If you absolutely need to have a shave bowl something like a rubber collapsible dog dish might be an idea.

I carry a bowl.... which is one of my kids old cereal bowls - Anpanman plastic - light. The ceramic heavy bowl I leave at home.

Face lather using Proraso in the tube is my travel setup.

I carry a shave stick, Palmolive or Arko, a DE (blades in check-in bag) and a plastic disposable razor which I own since 2011 when I started wetshaving. I use an alum stick and TSA friendly vials of AS and cologne. Face lather so no bowl.

On my travels, I scoop out a glob of Aos cream into a small one ounce Tupperware. I then use a coffee cup wherever I am at. You only need a little dab of that cream to lather up enough for a three pass shave.

These days I travel with a safety razor, double or single edge, a synthetic brush and two small tubs of soap or cream. Face lathering works best for me when traveling, although I use a coffee cup, which I heat frequently, to keep my brush warm. Alum, aftershave balm and an aftershave splash complete the setup.

I had not traveled this past winter and had to check my wet pack to see see its content. There was a small tub of Xpec cream and another of Castle Forbes lavender cream in there, both slightly on the dry side. I'll use them until gone and then refill the two small tub with fresh stuff. Sometimes I travel with soaps. It all depends on what I have on hand at the time.
